About the Play: Ms. Travis and Ryan Gladstone, Artistic Director of Monster Theatre, have combined their considerable talents to capture the hearts of audiences with their latest creation, Lavignia: A Modern Fairy Tale of Gigantic Proportions. This is a puppetational, inspirational and heart-warming tale about a girl who just wants to dance. This family-friendly fantasy promises laughs, attempted dancing, and an important reminder about self-worth and belonging that’s inspiring for humans of all ages.

About the Company: Monster Theatre is one of the Canadian Fringe Circuits premiere acts, proving themselves year after year with sold-out performances, 5 star reviews and hit shows.  Credits include: 2002 Just for Laughs Best Comedy Award for The Canada Show: The Complete History of Canada in One Hour (Montreal), Critic's Pick for The Big Rock Show: The Complete History of the World in One Hour.

About the Performer: Ms. Travis is the Artistic Producer of Monster Theatre, with whom she has co-created and performed a multitude of literary adaptations with Mini Masterpieces, and played over 20 characters in The Shakespeare Show. Other select stage credits include Leading Ladies (The Gateway Theatre), Volpone (United Players), and Werewolves (Pi Theatre). She is an actor-writer-puppeteer, and lives in Vancouver.
